The STARs are shining on the 5th graders for about seven and a half hours this week and next. Having closed out week one, mornings with the STAR Test, and the snacks that follow, are becoming rather a routine. It's not possible to keep to our explorer unit with this disruption in the schedule. It is certainly something I need to be more mindful of next year.
Note to self: Anticipate the STAR. Clear the decks in advance.
