Grandparents' Day was a remarkable morning: remarkable in the sense that the stories and perspectives shared by our visiting elders were insightful and of great historical relevance and significance.
We could easily build a year-long history curriculum centering around these stories: rich and personal histories, related orally by the persons who lived it.
The event was well-timed, as we enter the third and final week of our Oral History Project, with student presentations to be exhibited during the evening of Wednesday, September 28th.
