We've been working on opinion papers in the past two weeks, first with a paper about explorers (While all of us explore, only a few people are true explorers. Do you agree? Explain), followed by a paper about school uniforms (The ISM school uniform policy should be changed. Do you agree? Explain), and now a paper about iPads (ISM students should be issued iPads. Do you agree? Explain).
The paper follows a five paragraph form. Here's a few of our recent collaborative documents:
After focusing on each paragraph of the five paragraph form this week, tomorrow we will look at the writing of a closing paragraph. Final drafts are due Monday. A revision guide was shared today, along with the assessment rubric.
